Everything you need to know before your first visit.
Consider seeing a nephrologist if you have persistent protein or blood in your urine, a raised creatinine, blood pressure that is hard to control, diabetes with kidney involvement, recurrent kidney stones, or a family history of kidney disease. Early referral consistently leads to better outcomes.
Early CKD is often silent. Warning signs include ankle swelling, persistent tiredness, changes in how often you pass urine or its colour, foamy urine, unexplained itching and high blood pressure. Routine blood and urine tests are the most reliable way to detect kidney disease early.
Some causes — such as acute injury from dehydration or medicines — can be reversed, especially when caught early. Chronic kidney disease is generally not reversible, but its progression can be significantly slowed or stabilised with the right treatment and lifestyle changes.
Yes. Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is done at home, either by hand during the day or by a machine overnight while you sleep. Dr. Gaurav Singh trained in PD in the United Kingdom and can help you decide whether it suits you. Read the full article on peritoneal dialysis.
Your first visit includes a detailed review of your medical history, an examination, a review of your tests and scans, and a discussion of your care plan. Please bring previous reports and a list of your medicines. The first consultation usually takes 45–60 minutes, and you will never feel rushed.
The fastest way is WhatsApp on +91 89764 39597. You can also call the same number, or message through Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Replies usually come within a few hours during clinic hours.
Don't wait until it gets worse. Book a consultation and get answers, clarity and a plan that puts your kidney health first.
